The Shopmobility service is designed to help anyone with a disability enjoy the shopping and tourist attractions that Winchester has to offer.
Shopmobility is located in the Upper Parking Level of The Brooks Shopping Centre. If you are travelling by car, follow the Shopmobility signs into the car park where free parking is available for Shopmobility customers.
Shopmobility has a selection of manual and powered wheelchairs and electric scooters which can be hired for a small charge - currently £4 per day. For an annual membership fee of £5 the hire charge is reduced to £2.50. Equipment can be hired overnight and for up to seven days (Special conditions and prices apply).

 You can be met from your car, taxi or Dial-a-Ride bus, and equipment can be delivered or collected from your hotel or home within the local area around our base. You will also be shown how to use your vehicle safely, and given a chance to practice, should you require it. This service must be pre-booked as it is subject to the availability of volunteers.
To avoid disappointment and to ensure that the right piece of equipment is available for you, it is advisable to book in advance.
Please note: No equipment is hired out one hour before closing time!
